Even more important (unregistered users, please read!): Starting with version 8.2. we have changed the registration procedure. If you decide to register with SimMarket.com, you will be sent an e-mail with a key code which you must enter together with your name and e-mail address into the registration window which you reach from the About menu. If you enter the correct data, your version will be automatically registered for you personally. With the release of v. 8.2, you can no longer register the lower versions 8.0 and 8.1. In case any problems arise in the course of registration please contact http://support.simmarket.com. If you have never had problems with missing taxiways, you do not need this patch.

networkconfig.zip

fsctutorial.zip

With version 8.3 we have changed the structure of help files so that now both manuals and help files are available in languages other than English. Note also that help files and manuals are now textually identical.

Currently English, German, French,  Italian and Spanish are available; other languages are is in preparation. The Italian version was produced by Carlo Peloso and his team, the French version by Fabrice Erdinger, the Spanish version by Javier Guerrero. We express our deepest thanks for their efforts.

The file networkconfig.zip contains two text documents (English and German) which explain how to configure your network for use with FlightSim Commander. If you want to run FlightSim Commander in a multi-computer environment in conjunction  with WideFS and encounter any network problems (e.g. the Database Manager doesn't find the path of Flight Simulator; flight plans cannot be saved in the proper FS or PMDG directory; etc), download this file and read the instructions.

The file fsctutorial.zip explains the major program features by way of a sample flight.

DAFIF Files 31. August 2006 - 27. September 2006 (Cycle 0609)

DAFIF closes and Navigraph takes over!!!!

fscdafif0609.zip
Download the file  if you don't have access to the official DAFIF website or find it too cumbersome to download the original DAFIF database. The zip-file contains all extract files in the proper format that FlightSim Commander can read. That is, you don't have to run the Database Manager, but simply copy the files to the proper FlightSim Commander folder (default: \FSC\Database) .

Since DAFIF closed its public doors on October 1st 2006, this will be the last DAFIF Cycle to be released here. Future updates will be available at Navigraph. Please check their website for details on how to obtain the monthly updates.

IVAO Airspace File (July 2008)

fscivaodat.zip
This file contains the currently valid IVAO airspace structure and should be used by IVAO pilots and controllers.

The airspace structure used by IVAO is updated at irregular intervals to cope with changes in the real world. We thus advise users to check this page once in a while to see if they are using the correct airspace structure. If you notice discrepancies between what you see in FS Commander and what IVAO ATC tells you, this is probably due to the fact that you are not using the correct airspace file.

Unzip the file and copy the file fsc_ivao.dat into your \Database folder (default: \FSC\Database\) overwriting the currently existing file. As always it is good standard practice to make a backup copy of the current file before overwriting it.

AIBridge for private multiplayer online pilots

AIBridge.zip
José Oliveira's program AIBridge reads multiplayer traffic and feeds the aircraft data into Flight Simulator's AI traffic.  FlightSim Commander then displays multiplayer aircraft in the same way as ordinary AI aircraft. If you are using a private network, you need AIBridge in order to see the other players' aircraft.
IVAO and VATSIM pilots DO NOT NEED AIBridge, since both online organizations provide a TCAS feature which has the same effect as AIBridge. In the case of IVAO make sure that the option
Populate TCAS table at General/FSUIPC of the IVAP client is checked.

AFCAD repair files for AeroSoft Mega-Aiport Frankfurt and London Heathrow 2008

fsc_eddf_mega_afcad.zip           (for FS 2004/FS9)
fsc_eddf_mega_X_afcad.zip      (for FS X)

fsc_egll_mega_afcad.zip

Some versions of the original AFCAD files which ship with AeroSoft Mega-Airport Frankfurt and London Heathrow 2008 sceneries are lacking entries which may lead to missing ILS information both in Flight Simulator and FlightSim Commander. Download the repair files to obtain proper ILS setups for these sceneries. Please read the enclosed readme file carefully. For owners of Mega-Airport Frankfurt and/or London Heathrow 2008 only.
